The Rev. Jack Cormack came to Hillcrest Presbyterian Church most recently from the North Slope of Alaska where he served as pastor working with Inupiat Eskimos traveling between three remote villages. Prior to his work in Alaska, he serviced the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church in New Albany, Indiana for 18 years.  During that time he supervised 16 seminary students in their field education.  Since his graduation from Louisville Theological Seminary in 1990, he has served churches in Louisville, KY, Oxford, OH and Fairgrove, MI.  In addition to parish ministry, he served the community as a volunteer Police Chaplain, earning the certification level of Senior Chaplain in the International Conference of Police Chaplains.  He is also trained in Critical Incident Debriefing with both individuals and groups.

While in Southern Indiana, Jack was a Shepherd raising Black Cotswold sheep, a rare breed of long wools. He continues to enjoy fiber arts including Needle Felting, spinning and weaving.
